Such inspiring and beautiful artwork.
Wonderful.
4/4.........................

Love how Georges de la Tour (#2) lights the scene with a single candle, very dramatic.
#17 Repin
All the fenster.
I wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving now as I will be in incognito until friday. As always, thank you for all you do for us.
And a very Happy Thanksgiving to you, Alba! Our loving Father gives us such an abundance for which to be ever-thankful.
I really like the Hedge…the world as the fiery furnace. Brilliant concept.
God makes certain every single person gets his turn with Satan. That's why He has to free Satan from the abyss at the end.
45) DIE. (I have always interpreted that as ‘commit suicide’.)
46) Three?
47) They got up and danced.
48) Fourth man was an angel.
I noticed the Repin as well. You don’t think of beauty in that particular part of the story of Job, but Repin’s use of color is absolutely gorgeous in this painting.
#46 is tricky. The young fellow is a late addition.
I do not recall the seeing the Valley of Dry Bones artwork earlier. I really like how some of the artists handled the vision.
the fiery furnace and Christ with us
Indeed, the fiery furnace is always here. My constant prayer is that the furnace would serve to burn away the dross, that I would hold tightly to Christ, and that when I emerge I would not even be tainted with the smell of smoke.
What a lovely prayer!
